Brief description of the Project:

The main objective of the project is to develop a new Baltic level scientific group (including collaboration and participation of foreign scientists) that focuses on creation and research of innovative integrated energy production technologies from irregular renewable energy resources.

Within the project:

  • a new integrated energy production technology from irregular renewable energy resources (solar, wind, biomass, biogas) will be developed;
  • a new improved efficiency biogas production technology from non-used biomass will be developed and experimentally tested;
  • scientific capacity of the new scientific group justified by developing and submitting 12 full text articles for international cited scientific journals, 3 patent applications, 1 monograph.

The overall budget of the project is EUR 495 599, from which 92.47 % are ensured from the European Social Fund, 7.23 % from the state budget but 0.30% from the budget of Riga Technical University.
